BRAND POSITIONING

Redhead Ranch is one of three product lines that falls under the Redhead moniker.

Each product line has it’s own aesthetic, but it must fit with the overall brand aesthetic, too.


LOGO STRATEGY

The logo mark was developed to function across each line, and the supporting text changes along with the primary color. This allows for a clear distinction between the lines while maintaining brand integrity and recognition. This consistency grounds the brand and the subsequent product lines, but also allows each line to cater to specific demographics.


PHOTOGRAPHY APPROACH

Despite my rugged appearance, I had nothing but peripheral experience of the rancher lifestyle. I mean, I didn’t even watch Yellowstone until just recently. Having spent a good portion of my life in Idaho, I have been around numerous cowboys, ranchers, rodeo competitors, and the like. The one thing I learned is that above all, they value authenticity.

There were a few things on my must-have list for photography:

  • The models had to be REAL ranchers

  • The location had to be a REAL ranch

  • The activities had to be REAL jobs
